Strict regulations apply to the transportation and storage of pharmaceutical and biotech products, with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) aiming to ensure the quality and integrity of your drugs. Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) covers the production of drugs. Swissmedic and other good working practice (GxP) guidelines set out additional conditions for your pharmaceutical distribution chain.
We implement all of these requirements in conjunction with Planzer – with no ifs or buts. For example, the temperature has to be continuously monitored, recorded, and documented from collection to delivery. Vehicles therefore need to be suitably equipped, and goods handling areas have to be separated into strict temperature zones. And much more.

Access to Planzer’s own pharmaceuticals warehouses is strictly regulated and closely monitored. Helveticor ensures that sites are physically secure and that all of the standards for pharmaceutical and healthcare products are met. An on-call service provides 24-hour surveillance and monitoring of the warehouse buildings and the entire IT system at each location
We work alongside the Planzer pharmaceuticals team to ensure that the storage of your pharmaceutical and biotech products is GDP compliant. This compliance starts at incoming goods and extends through all of the warehousing and other value-added services. It doesn’t end until your order leaves our temperature-controlled loading bay on a pharmaceutical transport vehicle. If medicines need to be destroyed, we provide monitored and professional disposal.
