Responsibilities
• Oversee day-to-day business operations of valuable cargo shipments, including imports, exports and domestic transportation across North America
• Develop, implement and maintain strict operational process flows and procedures to ensure secure, compliant and reliable execution of high-value cargo movements
• Ensure all high-value shipments are handled in accordance with applicable insurance requirements, coverage conditions and defined limits
• Coordinate and communicate with customers, vendors, partners, authorities and other relevant stakeholders throughout operational and compliance processes
• Manage compliance-related registrations and requirements with relevant private organisations and government authorities applicable to the secure freight forwarding industry
• Monitor operational and compliance processes, identify potential risks or deviations and ensure appropriate follow-up in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Compliance or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant experience in the armored car or secure logistics industry, with a freight forwarding background involving valuable commodities
• Strong understanding of secure freight forwarding operations, high-value cargo handling, regulatory requirements and compliance processes
• Airside experience and knowledge of TSA requirements are considered a strong advantage
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, security-sensitive environment
• Valid driver’s license and passport
